Lead checkout service at Giant Tiger in Boisbriand with cashier training, policy compliance, and customer complaint resolution. This is a full time position.

As Head Cashier, you will oversee checkout operations and support consistent customer experiences. The work includes training cashiers on point-of-sale procedures, ordering checkout merchandise, and opening or closing the store. You will also uphold health, safety, loss prevention, tobacco, and lottery policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure high levels of customer service
- Train cashiers on checkout and service procedures
- Order and replenish checkout merchandise, including tobacco and lottery
- Open and close the store on a rotating basis
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally

Requirements:

- At least one year of retail experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory experience is an asset
