Provide complex nursing care at Safehaven’s Elm Ridge residence in Toronto, using tracheostomy, ventilator, and life-sustaining technology expertise.

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will support children with complex medical needs in a residential setting. Working with one or two clients, you will provide direct care, medication administration, recreation, and programming. You will practice within your full scope under Ontario nursing standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide daily living care, nutrition, hygiene, and recreation
- Administer medications and maintain residence upkeep
- Coordinate individualized plans, documentation, and medical visits
- Assess needs and evaluate changing care requirements




- Provide tracheostomy and ventilator-related technological assistance

Requirements:

- Current Registered Practical Nurse certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Two to three years’ related medically complex care experience
- Completed pediatric tracheostomy training module
- Completed central venous access device training module
- Completed home ventilation and pulmonary clearance module
