Support healthcare meal preparation at AgeCare Mount Ida Mews using standardized recipes and food safety practices. This is regular part time work in Salmon Arm, British Columbia.

As a Cook's Helper, you will assist the Cook in a traditional institutional kitchen. The position supports production schedules, meal service, resident diet modifications, recipe compliance, and established quality standards. Work hours are 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Cook with timely food preparation
- Follow recipes, portions, procedures, and production schedules
- Support beverage service, plating, clearing, and dining-room cleaning
- Prepare regular and modified foods for resident diets
- Sanitize work areas and maintain kitchen equipment

Requirements:

- Food Safe Certification Level 1
- Nationally recognized food service safety certification
- Two years of healthcare Cook or Assistant experience
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- Experience using institutional kitchen equipment
