Provide specialized mental health nursing at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, using therapeutic interventions and evidence-based care. Work part time across days and nights.

This Registered Nurse serves Acute Psychiatry 9 Tower and T10 Tower at the Charlton Campus. You will care for patients with complex mental illnesses across the care continuum. The practice emphasizes person-centered nursing, recovery, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with an inter-professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete assessments and organize therapeutic interventions
- Provide protected, evidence-based specialized nursing care
- Document and evaluate patient interventions
- Collaborate and delegate within the inter-professional team
- Support patient stabilization and community reintegration

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Current BCLS/HCP certification
- At least one year of recent mental health nursing experience
- Knowledge of Mental Health Act and related legislation
- CPI Crisis Prevention Training or completion during orientation
