* The Government Services Integration Cluster, under the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join their team on a full-time onsite engagement in Toronto. In this role, the successful consultant will lead user experience design initiatives across digital products and platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling interfaces that meet real user needs. Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications Design the overall functionality of digital products to ensure a outstanding user experience, iterating based on user-testing results Design user interfaces for various projects including digital displays, publications, and other creative materials Take a user-centered design approach, rapidly testing and iterating on designs throughout the product lifecycle Conceive and conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, translating findings into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes Define and lead UX projects, design workshops, and alignment sessions with stakeholders and business users Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces Identify design problems and devise elegant,



scalable solutions Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to both core and new product functions and features Collaborate effectively with developers, QA specialists, and business stakeholders to achieve shared project goals Demonstrated experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance Proven experience as a UX Designer, Interactive Designer, UI Designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications Ability to define and lead UX projects, design workshops, and stakeholder alignment sessions Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Canva Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web development technologies Experience designing online programs with an emphasis on the emotional aspects of human experience Portfolio of UX/design work required — must be uploaded or linked on resume Prior OPS or public sector experience Experience working with the Ontario Design System and Ontario Service Design standards Knowledge of accessibility testing and digital service standards Experience with complex design challenges involving legacy systems and nuanced stakeholder or approval relationships Hands-on experience with UI/UX activities including wireframing, surveys, questionnaires, consultation, and research This is a fully onsite position, requiring 5 days per week in-office in Toronto. No security clearance is required.
