Echelon Insurance seeks an Intermediate Claims Adjuster to handle low-to-moderate complexity physical damage claims. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, reserve, and resolve personal and commercial lines claims. The position requires insurance contract knowledge, decision-making, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate low-to-moderate complexity claims
- Handle automobile, trucking, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle damage claims
- Manage challenging coverage claims professionally and tactfully
- Maintain timely, accurate reserves under corporate protocols




- Manage litigation and participate in mediations, pre-trials, and conferences

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- CIP designation or progress toward designation
- Three to five years handling casualty or related claims
- Knowledge of settlement practices, policy wording, fraud, and coverage
- Robust organization, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
