We are expanding our Vancouver engineering team-our core product and development hub, and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to take technical ownership of high-impact product initiatives. You won't get lost in corporate red tape: you will architect scalable services, ship end-to-end features, collaborate closely with product and customer-facing teams, and help shape the long-term architectural trajectory of our platform. Architect, build, and deploy robust features across Python/Django backends, modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React), and relational databases. Production Reliability & Code Quality: Troubleshoot complex runtime issues in live production environments, champion automated testing, and lead thoughtful peer code reviews to maintain high security, architectural, and quality standards. AI-Accelerated Workflows: Leverage modern development tools (such as Cursor,



Claude, and GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery, write comprehensive tests, and debug complex codebases while maintaining rigorous engineering standards. Database & Query Performance: Model normalized relational schemas (PostgreSQL), write complex queries, optimize indexes, and eliminate ORM performance bottlenecks and edge-case race conditions. Integrations & Pipelines: Build and maintain resilient integration pipelines handling third-party REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, asynchronous queues (Celery/Redis), email ingestion, and document/OCR workflows. Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide architectural decisions, author clear system documentation, and mentor intermediate engineers across the team. 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and scaling production web applications in a SaaS or fast-paced startup environment. While Python and Django form our core stack, we value strong engineering fundamentals and welcome deep experience across equivalent backend ecosystems. Frontend Capabilities: Proven experience working with up-to-date frontend frameworks (specifically Angular, React, or Vue), state management, component architecture,



and seamless API integrations. Database Depth: Strong working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and debugging slow ORM queries.
