Apply microbiology expertise to diagnostic specimen testing at LifeLabs while working regular part time overnight shifts, primarily weekends. Accuracy and timely reporting support patient well-being. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will conduct interpretive and diagnostic testing in LifeLabs teaching laboratories. The position includes sample processing, result release, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and opportunities to teach student placements. You will also support continuous improvement and technology evaluation.

Key Responsibilities




Conduct diagnostic and interpretive microbiology specimen testing Prepare samples with accurate labeling and documentation Interpret and release results confidentially Identify non-conformities and develop corrective action plans Maintain laboratory safety and quality standards

Requirements:
Medical Laboratory Science diploma, degree, or equivalent education Current CMLTO registration in good standing Robust analytical skills and attention to detail Computer skills using Microsoft Office and laboratory analyzers Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Bring microbiology testing, analytical judgment, and careful documentation to LifeLabs diagnostic services during overnight shifts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
