Apply millwright troubleshooting and repair skills at Marcal Paper, supporting equipment and facility maintenance in a 24-hour paper mill operation.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work within a team-based maintenance department at Interlake Acquisition Corporation dba Marcal Paper. The position covers equipment installation, preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. You will assist other trades while receiving training in machinist, pipefitter, and welding skills. A 433A millwright license is required, with welding preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Change pump elements, couplings, reducers, and gearboxes
- Repair or replace conveyor pulleys, belts, chains, and sprockets
- Perform alignment, rigging, fabrication, and oxy-acetylene cutting




- Support paper machine roll-change training as required
- Maintain smooth continuous plant operation with maintenance colleagues

Requirements:

- Hold a 433A millwright license
- Understand hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder repairs
- Read sketches and blueprints accurately
- Use calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
- Work rotating overtime and on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays

Use millwright, mechanical maintenance, alignment, and troubleshooting expertise to support Marcal Paper’s continuous paper mill operations.
