Deliver school-based immunization and health promotion as a Public Health Licensed Practical Nurse with Edmonton Zone Public Health. Work includes family-centered services across school communities. This temporary part time LPN serves Healthy Schools from Mill Woods Public HC. You will provide safe, quality care through nursing processes, critical thinking, and decision-making. The program supports immunization, harm reduction, health promotion, and healthier school communities.

Key Responsibilities




Deliver immunizations to school-aged children Implement and evaluate annual school immunization services Support health promotion activities in school settings Document continuously in electronic medical records Provide nursing duties supporting Edmonton Zone Public Health programs

Requirements:
Complete an accredited practical nurse education program Hold active or eligible Alberta LPN registration and practice permit Maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification Demonstrate independent nursing judgment within scope of practice Have recent school-aged children and family experience Apply nursing judgment, immunization expertise, and communication skills within Edmonton Zone Public Health’s Healthy Schools program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
