About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in Web3 and decentralized applications (dApps) to join their dynamic team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain user-facing components for decentralized applications using up-to-date frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Integrate frontend applications with blockchain networks and smart contracts using libraries like Web3.js or Ethers.js.
- Implement seamless wallet connectivity and user authentication flows (e.g., MetaMask).
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and responsiveness of frontend applications.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.




- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior frontend engineers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- 2+ years of specific experience developing frontend for Web3 dApps or blockchain-related projects.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Experience with Web3 libraries (Web3.js, Ethers.js) and wallet integrations (MetaMask, WalletConnect).
- Understanding of smart contract interactions and blockchain basics.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and responsive design.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
