Lead financial reporting, treasury, and risk management for HIAA as Financial Reporting and Risk Manager. Support accurate, timely reporting and solid controls.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this manager oversees accounting operations, audits, insurance, regulatory compliance, and financial systems. The position leads Accounting Services and provides technical accounting expertise. It supports continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with ASPE, legislation, and contractual reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop Accounting Services Specialists
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory filings
- Maintain internal controls and financial systems
- Manage insurance claims, renewals, and reporting

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce, or related discipline
- Required CPA designation
- Seven years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Three years leading and managing employees
- Advanced Excel and ASPE knowledge
