Valmet’s Services team supports large-scale papermaking equipment at customer facilities. This Field Service Technician role focuses on control systems, optimization, programming, and software troubleshooting. You will also lead on-site repairs and preventive maintenance under contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support customer control systems and optimize their functions
- Lead in office repairs at customer facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance according to contract requirements
- Troubleshoot programming and software-related issues




- Prepare timely field reports with improvement recommendations

Requirements:

- Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree
- Three to five years’ technical experience in papermaking or related fields
- Understanding of PLC programming and Rockwell software
- Papermaking machinery knowledge is an advantage
- Authorization to work in the United States and travel eligibility
