Operate heavy cranes safely on Ledcor’s oil sands mine expansion project, using machine-specific controls and attachments. Work outdoors on a 14-and-7 rotation with 11.5-hour days.

As an experienced Crane Operator, you will support heavy earthworks and construction for Ledcor’s client. The work includes 80- and 100-ton RT cranes or 50-ton boom trucks with manbaskets. You will assist with lifting components for high-voltage structures while coordinating with operators, ground personnel, and Laborers. Safety awareness remains essential around adverse terrain, other equipment, and heavy traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate cranes using machine-specific controls and attachments
- Lift components for high-voltage structure assembly
- Interpret hand signals and other crew communication




- Complete inspections, hazard assessments, and maintenance reports
- Protect crew, equipment, and the work workplace

Requirements:

- Preferred three-plus years operating cranes
- Experience with 80- and 100-ton RT cranes
- Experience with 50-ton boom trucks and manbaskets
- Red Seal certification from recognized provincial training authority
- Industrial construction experience and pre-access testing completion
