As a Senior Backend and AI Platform Engineer, you will improve ORCA's execution architecture and establish AI-native engineering practices. You will design backend services, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and secure distributed execution. The work supports reusable AI workflows for enterprise partners and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop backend services for reusable AI workflows and APIs
- Expose ORCA through A2A and MCP protocols
- Implement durable execution, retries, recovery, and monitoring
- Establish tested workflow contracts and address technical gaps
- Use AI coding agents and automated testing

Requirements:

- Five plus years building production backend or distributed systems
- Robust Python and database skills
- Experience designing APIs and asynchronous workflows
- Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and production debugging experience
- Understanding of AI agents, tool calling, and evaluation
