Cost control and forecasting drive this Project Controller role with Cementation at NexGen Rook I, Saskatchewan, on a 14/14 rotation.

As Project Controller, you will execute daily cost-control activities for NexGen’s shaft sinking project. You will maintain cost data, track commitments, support forecasts, and analyze performance for project leaders. The work connects finance, procurement, scheduling, change, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain cost reports, forecasts, commitments, accruals, and variance analyses
- Track actual costs against budgets and identify emerging trends
- Support forecasts reflecting scope, productivity, and schedule impacts
- Prepare client-facing reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
- Coordinate cost information with schedule, progress, and change data

Requirements:

- Three to five years of project cost-control experience
- Construction or mining project experience
- Solid understanding of forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong Excel skills and careful attention to detail
- Ability to explain cost findings clearly to stakeholders
