Reporting to the Chief Capital Planning and Development Officer, the Director leads CHEO’s facilities operations team. This senior leader works with the Director, Capital Projects, clinical leaders, operational leaders, and corporate leaders. The mandate covers safe, reliable, efficient facility operations, regulatory compliance, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and direction to facilities operations teams
- Oversee engineering services, plant operations, and maintenance
- Manage utilities, infrastructure, and critical building systems




- Support capital interfaces across CHEO facilities
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and corporate leaders

Requirements:

- Leadership experience in facilities operations and maintenance
- Ability to support current and future healthcare delivery needs
- Knowledge of engineering services and plant operations
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and system reliability
- Ability to work within a facilities leadership team
