The Controller oversees accounting and financial operations across programs, funding agreements, capital assets, mortgages, and administered funds. This senior leader manages financial close, reporting, audits, and compliance with ASNPO, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. The position guides leadership, the Board, program leaders, and funders while developing the Finance team and improving systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare ASNPO financial statements and meaningful reporting packages
- Lead external audits and address audit findings
- Manage funder reporting, claims, reconciliations,



and deferred revenue
- Lead budgets, forecasts, controls, and NetSuite improvements

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA designation with CPA Alberta or transfer eligibility
- Seven-plus years accounting experience, including three-plus years leading close
- Experience supervising staff and communicating financial information clearly
- Knowledge of ASNPO, NetSuite, funding agreements, and financial models
