Lead health, safety, and environmental activities in North York with Aecon, supporting civil construction projects through orientations, inspections, and training.

As an EHS Advisor, you will promote Aecon’s Health, Safety and Environmental Manual across employee levels. The work includes workplace audits, safety planning, environmental coordination, claims support, and regulatory liaison. You will also coordinate site-safety activities and deliver specialized training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate employee and site-specific health and safety orientations
- Train workers on WHMIS, traffic protection, and emergency response
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and behavioral observations
- Develop emergency, traffic control, and fall protection plans




- Coordinate site-safety activities and workplace corrective actions

Requirements:

- Minimum four years’ civil construction health and safety experience
- Strong knowledge of Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Solid knowledge of WSIB and applicable workplace regulations
- NCSO or CRSP certification considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
