Support maternity patients and families as a Registered Nurse at Sault Area Hospital, applying labour and delivery expertise in a temporary part time position.

As part of the Women’s and Children’s Health team, you will assess, prioritize, plan, provide, and evaluate nursing care. Your practice spans normal and complex situations, including antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, breastfeeding, infant, and perinatal loss care. Collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers supports safe care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and monitor labouring and delivering mothers
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and infant care
- Scrub and circulate during C-section procedures
- Provide breastfeeding support and health teaching
- Collaborate with healthcare providers in patient care

Requirements:

- Current CNO Registered Nurse registration in good standing
- Recent Labour and Delivery experience within two years
- Valid Fetal Health Surveillance course within two years
- Twenty-hour Breastfeeding Certificate
- Operating Room experience within two years
