Lead liturgical practice across Hamilton and Southwestern Ontario using Roman Catholic formation and workshop facilitation expertise. This full-time role includes travel.

The Diocese of Hamilton seeks a Director of Liturgy reporting to the Chancellor. You will support positive liturgical practices across the Diocese, serving clergy, lay ministers, schools, and parishes. The position coordinates formation, celebrations, mandates, resources, and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide formation workshops and retreats for liturgical ministers
- Coordinate workshops introducing updated liturgical requirements
- Prepare diocesan, school, and parish liturgies
- Coordinate mandates for lectors and Communion Ministers
- Advise the Bishop and develop diocesan liturgical guidelines

Requirements:

- Degree or certification in Roman Catholic liturgical studies
- Master of Theological Studies or theology degree accepted
- Five years of liturgical ministry experience preferred
- Strong sacred music background highly beneficial
- Workshop facilitation skills and required liturgical familiarity
