Apply microbiology expertise as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with UHN’s Laboratory Medicine Program across Toronto sites and all shifts. Perform clinical testing accurately.

This permanent full-time position supports UHN, Canada’s largest hospital diagnostic laboratory. You will perform microbiology procedures across bacteriology, molecular microbiology, and serology while documenting test results. The work also includes equipment troubleshooting, quality improvement, education, and patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform procedures across microbiology laboratory disciplines and functions
- Complete assigned workload according to procedure manuals
- Operate, troubleshoot, and clean laboratory equipment




- Prepare written and electronic procedure and test reports
- Participate in teaching, safety, and quality programs

Requirements:

- Recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist program completion
- Current College of Medical Laboratory Technologists registration
- At least one year of microbiology laboratory experience
- Problem recognition, solving, and time management skills
- Ability to coach technical staff and work accurately
