Ontario Transit Group seeks a Junior Instrumentation Technician for the South Civil package. Working under senior Instrumentation and Monitoring personnel, you will support monitoring systems across infrastructure and construction projects. The work includes equipment troubleshooting, data management, CAD updates, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate field activities with Instrumentation and Monitoring team members
- Install, test, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring instruments
- Collect, validate, organize, and interpret monitoring data
- Maintain field logs, inspection reports, and installation records




- Prepare instrumentation layouts, reports, procedures, and as-built documentation

Requirements:

- Ability to support geotechnical, structural, and environmental monitoring
- Ability to use CAD software for instrumentation drawings
- Understanding of data processing, quality control, and trend analysis
- Ability to conduct site visits and assess installation feasibility
- Commitment to quality standards and health and safety requirements
