Build financial models and investment analyses as a Strategic Finance Associate at Peak Power, evaluating distributed energy projects across North America.

Reporting to the VP, Strategic Finance, you will assess project feasibility by market and location. The position involves project finance, due diligence, and renewable energy analysis. You will work with Business Development, Operations, the Executive Team, developers, and financing partners on transactions and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop financial models for Distributed Energy Resource projects
- Lead technical, financial, and environmental due diligence
- Evaluate risks with external legal, technical, and environmental advisors




- Present valuations and investment analyses to leadership and boards
- Identify opportunities improving operational performance and portfolio growth

Requirements:

- Three-plus years in project finance, corporate development, or investment banking
- Experience with North American renewable energy assets
- Solid financial modelling and analytical skills
- Understanding of project finance and development concepts
- Master’s degree, CFA, or CPA preferred
