This Linehaul Coordinator supports transportation planning to maximize capacity, minimize partial trailer loads, and protect service integrity. The position directs equipment dispatch according to the Linehaul plan while coordinating contractors, trailers, dollies, and cargo shipments. Dispatch experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan contractor and equipment needs with field operations
- Coordinate and track trailers, rental equipment, and dollies
- Direct transportation equipment dispatch under the Linehaul plan
- Enter trip details into the online TMS system
- Investigate delays, accidents, failures, and contingency requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred
- Dispatch experience preferred
- Ability to follow Linehaul dispatch and arrival procedures
- Availability for post-peak night shifts
