The Operation & Maintenance Operator will assist the Control Room Operator in the operation of gas & steam turbines and supporting mechanical equipment to provide electrical power for a power plant located in Vancouver, Washington. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining combined cycle power plant equipment such as diesel engines, emergency diesel generator, heat recovery steam generator, water treatment systems, compressors, motors, pumps, and performing routine inspections and maintenance.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED with minimum 2 years Power Plant or Industrial Operating Experience or Associate’s Degree in related fields with minimum 1 year Power Plant experience. Valid driver's license. Ability to work rotating shifts, climb ladders/stairs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, lift 50 pounds. Must pass drug test, background check and physical evaluations. Desired: Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years Combined Cycle Power Plant Operating Experience.
