This Information Scientist role centers on information architecture for customer service agents, self-service users, and AI-powered solutions. You will analyze knowledge bases, search behavior, content quality, and tagging practices. The work also includes defining retrieval guidelines and supporting client-facing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze knowledge bases for structure, duplication, metadata, and searchability gaps
- Assess 100–200 pilot articles for quality, accuracy, currency, and tagging
- Design taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, synonyms, and metadata models




- Define content structure and search optimization requirements
- Establish quality standards, lifecycle rules, and ownership guidelines

Requirements:

- Five-plus years in information science, taxonomy, metadata, architecture, or search
- Experience designing enterprise or digital content taxonomies
- Experience improving content findability through search behavior analysis
- Experience preparing content for AI-powered search or knowledge retrieval
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Canadian government security clearance
