Valard Construction seeks an experienced construction accounting qualified for its Substations group. Reporting to the Manager, Business Performance, you will partner with project and divisional leadership. The position covers job costing, WIP reporting, forecasting, contract review, and month-end processes across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review contracts, budgets, estimates, and work breakdown structures
- Provide financial oversight and guidance to Project Managers
- Lead purchase order, accrual, job cost, and forecast reviews
- Prepare productivity reports, project review packages,



and margin commentary
- Maintain risk registers and contract value files

Requirements:

- Post-secondary accounting, finance, or related education
- Five years of progressive construction industry experience
- Expertise in job costing, WIP reporting, and project analytics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and construction revenue recognition knowledge
- Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, or similar ERP systems
