You will deliver consulting services for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. The work includes code strategies, technical reports, design reviews, project management, client communication, and mentorship. Projects cover Part 3 and Part 9 buildings under Division B of the Local Building Code.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide building code, fire, and life safety consulting services
- Develop practical code strategies supporting compliant project goals
- Review designs and identify code-related risks and opportunities




- Prepare code analyses, reports, and alternative solutions
- Manage projects, clients, deliverables, budgets, and schedules

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, fire protection engineering, or related discipline
- Five to eight years of relevant professional experience
- Skilled Engineer designation registered or eligible in Alberta
- Working knowledge of National Building Code Alberta Edition
- Experience preparing technical reports and compliance documentation
