As an experienced Mechanical Engineer, you will support product development, recent product introduction, and manufacturing for optical product families. Your work will develop advanced opto/microelectronic components, modules, and subsystems. The position combines mechanical design, thermal analysis, structural analysis, and integration of optical, electrical, and thermomechanical elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define mechanical design solutions meeting product design specifications
- Perform thermal and structural finite element analysis
- Design compliant components using mechanical standards and MSAs
- Complete tolerance analysis for performance and manufacturability
- Coordinate design activities with process and test engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Eight years' product development experience in design and FEA
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks and Ansys software experience
- RF, microwave, or optical package design experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
