SCIEX seeks a Senior Mechanical Designer for its R&D; Department. You will lead electromechanical design from concept through commercialization and sustaining, supporting analytical instrumentation. The work requires independent ownership, prototype development, testing, documentation, and collaboration across technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design mechanical technologies for current and next-generation mass spectrometry products
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate functional prototypes
- Deliver CAD models, GD&T; drawings, analyses, bills of materials, and documentation
- Track issues, schedules, and design milestones through project completion




- Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles across product development

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- 10+ years designing high-technology electromechanical systems and subsystems
- Proficiency with industry-standard two-dimensional and three-dimensional CAD tools
- Understanding of ISO GPS and/or ASME GD&T; principles
- Experience with DFx, DFMEA, and design workflows
