About the Role
As an Olive Oil Ambassador, you'll be part of a welcoming, collaborative team dedicated to creating exceptional shopping experiences. During the busy holiday season, a big part of your role will be helping customers explore our wide variety of gifting options,



recommending thoughtful gift combinations, and preparing beautifully packaged gift sets. You'll also assist with pouring and bottling products, processing purchases, and keeping our stores stocked, organized, and ready for holiday shoppers. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment, has an eye for detail, and loves helping customers find the perfect gift. Duties & Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome customers and create a friendly, inviting shopping experience.
- Help customers explore our selection of gourmet gifts, offering personalized recommendations based on their needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Assist customers with selecting olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and complementary gourmet products.
- Pour, label, and package olive oils and balsamic vinegars accurately and efficiently.
- Assemble, package, and replenish a variety of gourmet gift packs, gift boxes, and custom gift combinations.
- Offer product tastings and share information about flavour profiles, pairings, and culinary uses when appropriate.
- Operate our point-of-sale system, process purchases, and maintain customer loyalty accounts.
- Restock merchandise, replenish gift displays,



and maintain an attractive, organized store.
- Work collaboratively with team members to manage daily tasks and provide efficient service during busy shopping periods.
- Follow established cleaning, food safety, and product handling procedures. Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset.
- An interest in food, cooking, and gourmet products is highly valued.
- A warm, outgoing, and approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
- Confidence engaging with customers and making personalized product and gift recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when bottling products and assembling gift sets. No previous olive oil or balsamic vinegar expertise is required We provide product training and are looking for people who are enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn. Position Details
