We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Landscaping Labourer & Snow Removal Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, takes pride in their work, and is interested in long-term employment with opportunities to develop new skills. Position Overview: The successful candidate will assist with landscaping and property improvement projects during the warmer months and snow removal and ice management operations during the winter season. This is a hands-on position requiring physical labour, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in changing weather conditions. A minimum of 25 hours per week will be provided during the winter season, with additional hours depending on weather conditions and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:
Landscaping & Property Maintenance (Spring–Fall)
- Assist with residential and commercial landscaping projects.
- Perform grading, soil preparation, and general site preparation.
- Assist with sod installation, lawn renovations, planting, and mulching.
- Assist with interlock installation, retaining walls, and other hardscaping projects.
- Perform excavation, material handling, and general construction labour.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Assist with property maintenance and other outdoor improvement projects.




- Follow instructions from the crew lead and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Snow & Ice Management (Winter)
- Perform manual snow removal using shovels and snow blowers.
- Clear snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, stairs, and other designated areas.
- Apply salt and ice-melting products as required.
- Assist with commercial snow clearing and property maintenance operations.
- Work during early mornings, overnight storms, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and preparing snow removal equipment and materials.
- Monitor serviced areas and ensure work meets company standards.
- Follow all safety procedures while working in winter conditions. Qualifications
- Previous landscaping, construction, property maintenance, or snow removal experience is an asset.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor work.
- Comfortable working in cold temperatures, snow, and other challenging weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours during winter weather events.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's licence is required
- Experience operating snow blowers, compact equipment, or other landscaping equipment is an asset.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required. Additional Requirements

- A criminal background check may be required.
- Must be available for winter snow operations, including early mornings,



overnight shifts, weekends, and emergency callouts when required.
- Must have reliable transportation to the designated meeting location or job site, unless otherwise arranged. Compensation & Employment Chance
- Hourly wage: $22–$25/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Minimum guaranteed pay equivalent to 25 hours per month during the winter season.
- Additional hourly pay for active snow removal work, as applicable.
