Pay : From $100 per hour Schedule: Flexible, including on-call for births About Thera Wellness Thera Wellness supports families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenthood with whole-person, evidence-informed care. Our team includes a massage therapist and an acupuncturist, and we work collaboratively with doulas, nurses, lactation professionals, and other practitioners. The Opportunity We are looking for a Naturopathic Doctor who is also trained and experienced as a Birth and Postpartum Doula to join our team. You would join a multidisciplinary team that already includes massage therapy and acupuncture, with opportunities to collaborate and refer between services. As inquiries for naturopathic and holistic pregnancy and postpartum support come in, we will prioritize referrals to you based on client needs, location, availability, and scope of practice. - Provide birth doula support during labour and delivery
- Provide postpartum doula support in clients’ homes
- Offer emotional, educational, and practical support during the transition to parenthood
- Teach newborn care and provide hands-on family support
- Offer breastfeeding and infant-feeding support within your training and scope
- Deliver prenatal education and birth preparation




- Educate on postpartum recovery, nutrition, and wellness
- Lead workshops, prenatal classes, and community education events
- Provide naturopathic consultations for Thera Wellness clients, within your professional scope
- Collaborate with our massage therapist, acupuncturist, doulas, nurses, lactation professionals, and other team members
- Refer clients to appropriate healthcare providers when needs fall outside your scope Qualifications Required
- Naturopathic Doctor in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (or applicable regulatory body)
- Training and experience as a birth and/or postpartum doula
- Current professional liability insurance
- Current CPR/First Aid (infant and adult)
- Clear vulnerable sector check
- Comfort working in clients’ homes and, as needed, at births Preferred
- Open to Naturopathic Doula Training
- Lactation training or certification (an asset)
- Experience teaching prenatal classes or workshops
- Additional language skills Perks
- Priority referrals for naturopathic and holistic perinatal inquiries
