Bray’s is hiring: Lead Cook (full time, 40 hrs/week) Bray’s is a shared-plates restaurant in the Janion, and our menu changes all the time based on what’s good, local and in season right now. We’re looking for a lead cook to join our small kitchen crew. You’d be someone who likes cooking on a menu that changes often, wants to keep getting better, and works well with a tight team. The job
- Cook a rotating menu of small, composed plates
- Work clean and stay organized from setup through close
- Help with ordering and inventory
- Keep food safety and sanitation standards high What you bring
- At least 2 year of kitchen experience
- Solid knife skills and a good grounding in classic techniques
- The ability to stay calm and efficient when service gets busy
- Attention to detail and a real interest in valuable food
- Clear communication and ownership of your work
- Openness to feedback and to learning new things




- Comfort working on your own and as part of a small team
- Availability for evenings and weekends (all shifts run until 11pm or midnight) What you get
- $22 to $24/hour, depending on experience
