Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning meats in preparation for processing or cutting; cutting carcasses,



sides and quarters; preparing special cuts of meat ordered by customers; cutting, trimming and preparing standard cuts of meat; wrapping and packaging prepared meats; removing bones from meat; weighing meats for sale; cutting poultry into parts; pricing meat products; cleaning and preparing fish and shellfish; selling meats to customers; cutting fish into steaks and fillets; supervising other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers; grinding meats; training meat cutters; making special sausages; preparing special displays of meats, poultry and fish products; and shaping, lacing and tying roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood.Qualifications and RequirementsLanguage· EnglishEducation· Secondary (high) school graduation certificateExperience· 1 year to less than 2 yearsEquipment and machinery experience* Manual cutting utensil
