This Early Childhood Educator delivers National YMCA Child Care and Provincial curriculum programming for children aged 0-12. The position facilitates activities, documents development, communicates with parents, and follows safety requirements. It also supports and mentors new Educators.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement YMCA-approved curriculum for children’s holistic development
- Facilitate creative activities and positive social interactions
- Observe and document children’s development and behavior
- Communicate daily with parents about child development
- Complete administrative tasks and mentor recent Educators

Requirements:

- Experience working with children preferred
- Level 1 Child Care Certification, or certification in progress
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Ability to obtain Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check
- Tablet and Microsoft Office Word experience
