Manage purchasing coordination for MacLean Engineering, using ERP data and supplier follow-up to support manufacturing operations. This position is based within MacLean’s operations.

The Purchasing Coordinator provides centralized procurement support across the organization. You will process purchase orders, maintain item and supplier data, monitor supplier commitments, and support purchasing reports. The role works closely with Operations, Planning, suppliers, Accounts Payable, Quality, Buyers, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process purchase orders and maintain approved purchasing changes
- Monitor shortages, open orders, commitments, and at-risk deliveries
- Follow up on confirmations, shipments, and supplier delivery commitments




- Resolve invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable and suppliers
- Maintain accurate ERP, item master, and supplier records

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in supply chain, business, or related field
- Two or more years of related manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience processing orders, expediting suppliers, or maintaining master data
- ERP or MRP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset
- Solid Excel, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills
