* Tutor Doctor specializes in personalized, one-on-one tutoring designed around each student's individual needs, goals, and learning style. We work with students of all ages and abilities, from elementary school through high school, post-secondary education, and beyond. Our tutoring takes place in students' homes, at local libraries, or online, providing families with convenient and accessible academic support. Serving families throughout Mission, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Aldergrove, we take pride in thoughtfully matching each student with a tutor who is the right fit academically and personally. We believe that when students feel comfortable, understood, and supported, meaningful learning happens. *Your Role as a Tutor
* As a Tutor Doctor tutor, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them overcome challenges, celebrate progress, and develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering personalized, one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and other areas that align with your knowledge and expertise.
- Adapting lessons and teaching strategies to suit each student's learning style,



academic needs, and individual goals.
- Helping students strengthen foundational skills, improve their understanding of challenging concepts, and develop effective study habits.
- Providing support with homework, assignments, test preparation, and ongoing academic development.
- Building positive, encouraging relationships that help students feel confident and motivated to learn.
- Completing brief session reports after each lesson to communicate progress, accomplishments, and areas requiring additional support. *Who We're Looking For
* We're interested in individuals who genuinely enjoy helping others learn and who recognize that patience, encouragement, and connection are just as important as subject knowledge. Our ideal tutors bring:
- A genuine enthusiasm for education and helping students succeed.
- Strong academic knowledge in at least one subject area.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain concepts in different ways.

- The ability to connect with students of different ages, personalities, and learning abilities.
- A willingness to adapt their approach to meet the needs of each individual student.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to travel to tutoring sessions throughout Mission. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset, but it's not a requirement. We're equally interested in finding individuals who have the right attitude, strong subject knowledge,
