This External Communications Manager partners with Benevity's AVP of Brand & Communications on the company's external voice. You will shape executive points of view, secure high-quality stages, and create speeches, articles, and presentations. The role also supports media relations, PR agency management, and crisis preparedness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead strategy for executive speaking opportunities and visibility
- Ghostwrite delivery-ready executive speeches, articles, and presentations
- Build executive viewpoints grounded in brand narrative and research
- Partner on thought-leadership planning and release




- Maintain crisis communications playbooks and escalation paths

Requirements:

- Seven-plus years of external, PR, or corporate communications experience
- At least three years leading B2B media or crisis communications
- Track record securing media placements and speaking opportunities
- Authentic executive voice development and ghostwriting experience
- Provocative writing, editorial judgment, and message discipline
