Support preschool learning at Milton Family Community Center through developmentally appropriate instruction, positive guidance, and team-oriented classroom leadership. This full-time position serves children Monday through Friday.

The Preschool Team Teacher supports MFCC classroom operations alongside the Co-Teacher and ECP Director. The work includes play-based learning, child observation, assessment, documentation, and family communication. Instruction addresses social-emotional development, language, literacy, early mathematics, physical development, creativity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Use positive guidance to support behavior and self-regulation




- Observe children and contribute to assessment documentation
- Maintain safe, organized, inclusive classroom environments
- Communicate professionally with families and service providers

Requirements:

- Be at least twenty years of age
- Hold a high school diploma or completed GED
- Meet Vermont early childhood qualification pathways
- Obtain pediatric and adult CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrate organizational and communication skills
