THE ROLE

As a Forklift Operator , you play a key role in the daily operations of our distribution centre. You are responsible for safely and efficiently handling, moving and storing merchandise while ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in accordance with BESTSELLER policies and applicable CNESST requirements.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move, store and stack pallets in designated locations.
- Prepare customer orders according to specific requirements.
- Meet required deadlines, including the hours and dates associated with customer orders.
- Identify pallets according to applicable requirements and restrictions.
- Complete daily forklift inspections and immediately report any mechanical or safety issues to the Team Leader.
- Place pallets in the correct locations and maintain accurate inventory locations.
