Contract duration: 14-month contract (potential to extend)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Pay Rate: $40-45/hr

Description Of Position

Responsible for performing raw materials, finished product and stability testing and ensuring records associated with Quality Control are complete. Responsible for QC method validation (in conjunction with R&D;), equipment calibration/qualification and troubleshooting. Will be asked to participate in out of specification, non-conforming material and deviation investigations. Will be required to provide training and guidance to the QC team and to perform some scheduling of tasks and follow-up on completion of work.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

- Perform Routine, In-Process, release and stability testing, focused on straightforward bench tests. May be asked to perform more complex testing (e.g., using more sophisticated equipment).
- May perform water bioburden testing and air sampling.
- Write, update and review QC SOPs and test methods as needed.
