NEOFACS seeks an Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing Worker for its child welfare team. The position provides a broad spectrum of children’s services for children and families. Key work includes risk assessment, protection planning, documentation, and applying relevant legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Complete assessments supporting child welfare service decisions Provide preventative services to children and families Provide child protection services within assigned responsibilities Develop protection plans for children and families Prepare documentation needed to determine disposition

Requirements:
MSW or BSW preferred; suitable education may be considered Experience with children, youth, and families is an asset Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities Ability to interpret and apply applicable legislation Willingness to work flexible hours and travel Bring assessment, documentation, communication, and legislative skills to NEOFACS child welfare services for children and families in Timmins. #J-18808-Ljbffr
