- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM For this position, the hourly salary range is $41.21–$43.96. Reporting to the Security Manager and working collaboratively with the TFS community, including Principals, employees, students, parents, visitors, and external rental groups, the Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of TFS employees, students, visitors, and all individuals using TFS facilities. Patrol TFS buildings and premises, maintaining a visible security presence at key times, including the start and end of the school day, recesses, large student gatherings, and during afternoon and evening rental activities. Direct visitors and external rental groups to the appropriate reception areas or designated facilities. Provide security support during facility rentals, ensuring that external groups comply with building access procedures, facility-use guidelines, and applicable safety regulations. Monitor the use of rented facilities during afternoon and evening shifts, addressing any security concerns, unauthorized access, or breaches of building rules. Respond to alarms and security-related calls, including fire alarms, lockdown procedures, and other emergencies. Maintain daily logs of activities, incidents, and issues addressed, including those related to facility rentals. Contact emergency services or other relevant authorities when required in response to emergencies or security breaches. Address violations of building rules and elevate concerns to the appropriate level of management when necessary. Inspect, test, and monitor security systems and report maintenance issues as needed. Provide security and traffic assistance during school events and activities,



which may take place during school hours, after school, in the evenings, or on weekends. Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset, interacting professionally, courteously, and respectfully with the TFS community, visitors, and external rental groups. Sous la responsabilité du gestionnaire de la sécurité, et travaillant en étroite collaboration avec l’ensemble de la communauté de TFS, notamment les directions d’établissement, les employés, les élèves, les parents, les visiteurs et les groupes externes qui louent les installations, l’agent-e de sécurité est responsable d’assurer la sécurité et la protection des employés, des élèves, des visiteurs et de toute personne utilisant les installations de TFS. Ses principales responsabilités consistent à effectuer des rondes dans les bâtiments et sur les terrains de TFS, à intervenir en cas de préoccupations liées à la sécurité, à assurer une présence visible et à veiller au respect des procédures de sécurité et d’urgence. Le poste comprend également un soutien supplémentaire aux activités de location des installations de TFS, particulièrement durant les quarts de travail de l’après-midi et du soir, afin de favoriser une utilisation sécuritaire et ordonnée des lieux par les groupes externes. Effectuer des rondes dans les bâtiments et sur les terrains de TFS afin d’assurer une présence visible aux moments clés, notamment au début et à la fin de la journée scolaire, pendant les récréations, lors de grands rassemblements d’élèves ainsi que durant les activités de location en après-midi et en soirée. Contribuer à la gestion de la circulation automobile au début et à la fin de la journée scolaire en dirigeant les conducteurs vers les zones de stationnement sécuritaires désignées et en facilitant le déroulement des arrivées et des départs des élèves.
