Analyze compensation accounting and financial reporting for Encore Canada in a hybrid work workplace supporting accurate, timely results. Advanced Excel skills are central.

The Accounting Analyst reports to the Controller and records complex financial data within ERP and reporting systems. The position focuses on payroll accounting, accruals, compensation transactions, reconciliations, and financial analysis. You will partner across Accounting, Finance, Payroll, HR, and Corporate Finance teams to support reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze compensation calculations and post transactions into the ERP
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc journal entries
- Perform monthly financial analysis and explain account variances




- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
- Minimum three years’ accounting, analysis, or reporting experience
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and XLOOKUP
- ERP experience, such as SAP or similar platforms
