Server and network integration define this Senior Infrastructure Specialist role, spanning installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and change implementation. The position includes on-call support when required.

You will support data centre hardware, server infrastructure, network devices, and security architecture while resolving advanced technical and operational problems. Responsibilities cover incident, problem, release, and change activities, plus coordination with internal and external providers. Knowledge of Windows, Solaris, AIX, Mainframe, VMware, SAN, and backup infrastructure is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and configure servers, operating systems, and virtual servers
- Analyse infrastructure incidents and resolve persistent technical problems
- Support routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers




- Identify infrastructure risks and update the configuration database
- Recommend server enhancements and coordinate hardware decommissioning

Requirements:

- Demonstrated VMware and V-Centre virtual server knowledge
- Knowledge of server platforms including Windows, Solaris, AIX, Mainframe
- Knowledge of networking installation, support, and configuration
- Knowledge of security architecture and backup infrastructure
- Robust documentation and writing skills
