SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Registered Social Worker (RSW) will provide services to individuals, families, and groups within the community to assess their situation and problems to determine the types of services required. The RSW is responsible for delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed, and person-centred care and collaborating with healthcare providers, schools and agencies. The incumbent will serve as a key support for individuals and families dealing with social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges, with a strong commitment to holistic and community-based healing practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master of Social Work from a Canadian accredited program.
- Registration (in positive standing) with the Ontario College of Social Workers or equivalent provincial regulatory body.
- Three (3)



years working in community or clinical setting.

OR

- Bachelor of Social Work.
- Registration (in good standing) with the Ontario College of Social Workers or equivalent provincial regulatory body.
- Five (5) years working in the community or clinical setting.

AND

- Must have valid Canadian passport.
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
- Valid CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain.
