Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures for Northern Health in Prince George, using MRI expertise, RIS PACS, and patient-focused communication.

As a registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you will work under Radiologist direction and Manager supervision. The position supports secure care, performs computer MRI procedures, and assists during procedures. You will also enter patient data, guide student technologists and trainees, and apply evidence-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform computer magnetic resonance imaging procedures
- Assist Radiologists during magnetic resonance imaging procedures
- Input patient-specific data into the Radiology Information System and PACS




- Provide procedural guidance to student technologists and staff trainees
- Promote a safe environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
- Successful completion of a recognized MRI program
- Two years recent related experience or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Current CAMRT MRI certification as RTMR
- Physical ability to perform position duties
