Supervise municipal road maintenance, drainage, winter control, and resource scheduling for the Town of Oakville during a temporary full-time assignment.

Reporting to the Manager, Works Operations, this Supervisor oversees crews, contractors, staff, and operational resources. The work covers road infrastructure, municipal drainage and water resources, leaf collection, and winter control. Solid leadership, public works knowledge, and sound judgment support service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise crews and contractors against standards, policies, and regulations
- Plan, schedule, train, motivate, and evaluate staff
- Oversee winter patrols, sanding, plowing, and sidewalk clearing
- Track daily activities, costs, records, and documentation




- Coordinate infrastructure work orders using asset and geographic systems

Requirements:

- Post-secondary civil or construction technology education, or Certified Roads Supervisor designation
- Progressively responsible leadership experience in municipal service delivery
- Valid unrestricted Ontario Class DZ driver's licence
- Knowledge of road and stormwater construction and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and Highway Traffic legislation
